Dr. Mandel is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist at the Institute for Behavior Therapy in midtown Manhattan. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University. Dr. Mandel has provided individual, couples, group, and family therapy in hospital, college counseling, and outpatient clinic settings throughout the New York City area. She received a B.A. in Studio Art from Bard College.
Dr. Mandel provides psychotherapy with clients of all backgrounds. The goal with all of her clients is to understand each unique individual and provide treatment that is respectful, culturally congruent, effective, and empowering.
Dr. Mandel is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the New York State Psychological Association, the Women's Mental Health Consortium, and Postpartum Support International.
